Dress Code

GIRLS
Ballet pink leotard, ballet pink tights and pink split-sole ballet slippers OR flesh toned-tights and flesh-toned split-sole ballet slippers (tights and slippers must match), tan or flesh-toned tap shoes, and hair secured off of the face and neck in a ponytail, bun or braids. 

BOYS
Solid white T-shirt, black shorts, leggings or pants and black split-sole ballet slippers or black tap shoes. 

GIRLS
Ballet 
Any solid colored leotard, ballet pink tights and pink split-sole ballet slippers OR flesh toned-tights and flesh-toned split-sole ballet slippers (tights and slippers must match), and hair secured off of the face and neck in a ballet bun. 

Jazz/Tap/Acrobatics/Contemporary/Musical Theater/Lyrical
Leotard, unitard, or other form-fitting dancewear and appropriate shoes (see below). NO baggy t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, etc. Arms, feet, knees and torso must be clearly visible. Hair should be neatly secured off of the face and neck. 

BOYS
Solid white T-shirt, black shorts, leggings or pants and black split-sole ballet slippers for ballet or appropriate shoes for other dance forms. 

AERIAL 

Form-Fitting dancewear that covers legs and torso (such as tights and leotards, leggings and fitted tank, etc.) and bare feet. Hair secured off face and neck.  

Appropriate shoes for each genre are:

Tan or Flesh-Toned Slip-On Jazz Shoes, 1.5-1.75 inch Character Heels (with teacher’s approval for intermediate/ advanced musical theater)

hip hop

Jazz/Musical Theater: 

Bare Feet (Long hair must be secured to head in a bun, french braid, etc. for safety)

Acro/Contemporary:

Comfortable dance or activewear, sneakers (please make sure they are clean and free from debris before entering the studio), and hair secured off face and neck.

Bare Feet, Jazz Shoes or Foot Undeez/ Half-Sole

lyrical:

Tan or Flesh-toned Lace-Up, Full-Soled Tap Shoes

GIRLS
Ballet and Pointe 
Black leotard, ballet pink tights and pink split-sole ballet slippers OR flesh toned-tights and flesh-toned split-sole ballet slippers (tights and slippers must match), and pink or flesh-toned pointe shoes if approved by instructor, and hair secured off of the face and neck in a ballet bun. 

BOYS
Solid white T-shirt, black shorts, leggings or pants and black split-sole ballet slippers for ballet or appropriate shoes for other dance forms.
