Summer Intensive

  • Designed for dancers age 8-19 years old
  • Instructors Straight from the Stage to the Studio

Instructors Katie Williams and Carlos Gonzalez join us as CURRENT ABT company members and will literally have wrapped their season at the MET just days before the start of SCBI! Dancers will benefit immensely from daily classes with them, but also from the other incredibly talented master instructors, Jennifer Whalen (Ballet), Jason Coosner (Ballet/Contemporary) and Rachel Hamrick (Pilates/Stretch/Conditioning), all whom bring a wealth of knowledge to share.

The only summer ballet intensive that offers this unforgettable experience. The incredible Misty Copeland will be in the studio on Friday to not only meet all SCBI students, but also engage in an uplifting discussion about her experience in the ballet world. All students will leave with a special gift from Misty.

Unlike many summer ballet intensives of this caliber, we are offering FOUR different age group/skill level divisions beginning at age 8. Our youngest dancers can benefit from this amazing experience.
